a grad shoot? why would anyone get a grad shoot when you spent so much on their senior session? let me tell you, I completely understand this question! as a mom of 4 kids that have all graduated, I am so thankful I did both!
for one, their senior session is usually almost an entire year before actual graduation. yes, you still want those senior pictures, for yearbook pictures, to frame or to make a gorgeous album for a gift that will bring everyone to tears.
but you also want to capture how they look, how they've changed and how they are at the very end of their high school or college career... this is such an important time in their life to remember, celebrate and document before they next chapter of their life starts! these also make excellent photos for grad announcements.
so there you have it!! I have limited time for these session, so book yours now! this is a time to remember and celebrate!

FAQ
What is your style of photography?
I suggest you take a look at my instagram or Facebook account to see my style and to see if it matches with your vision. my goal as your photographer is to not only capture the images you are seeking to keep forever, but to have fun! I will take traditional posed pictures that you (and your parents) love to frame but my passion is to capture real life moments, candid shots, and movement shots. I will help direct you to make you feel comfortable and relaxed to capture those natural moments.
Where will we shoot?
I am an on location photographer. We may choose a location together in Sonoma County. Beach sessions are only available if you book my Knockout package. I have plenty of suggestions for you and we will work together to find a location that fits your style whether it be in the country on a farm or in the streets of the city. I am open to any suggestion that you have to make your session unique to you.
what days and times do session happen?
I typically shoot on weekdays in the evenings about an hour and half before sunset (golden hour). This could be anywhere from 3pm-7pm depending on the time of year. I will work with you if weekends are a necessity.
What should I wear?
First, I always recommend you to wear what is you. Bring a few outfits (dress, jeans, shirt, jacket) and accessories (hats, scarves, jewelry, shoes etc). I will ask you before your session what you plan on wearing and I am also happy to help you and give suggestions. I also have a few favorite hair and makeup artists that I work with that I will suggest you use for your session. I always recommend getting professional hair and makeup done. It is worth it!
When do I get to see my images?
Within the first week, I will post a few photos to social media. Within 3-4 weeks of your session date, you will be able to view a password protected online proofing gallery of about 35-55 images of my choice. These proofs are watermarked, low resolution images to assist you in choosing your favorite images. The gallery will available for up to 60 days.
what products do you offer?
My sessions are all inclusive. You will receive a certain number of digitals according to your package choice and print credits for select packages. Additional prints and products that are not included in your package may be purchased separately.
